I met Caroline principally through our respective roles on University Appeal Panels. What a lovely person! Caroline had the ability to sift through the, frequently extensive, paperwork and always remind the panel that an anxious, unhappy or sometimes unwell student was awaiting the appeal decision. This very personal consideration of students, as the panel sought to apply the Regulations fairly, epitomises for me Caroline's character and personality. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing.
