I saw Caroline's genuine concern and care for the students when she was deputy Head of School. In the extenuating circumstances committee she should real sensitivity towards the students, and also concern for flagging colleagues attending marathon sessions. she was both practical and thoughtful in the way she carried out her responsibilities.
