To my dearest friend Caroline: for the last 25 years, I have been so privileged to call you my friend and it has been an honour, though one I so very much wish I had not had, to create this tribute site for you. You were always there for me, through the happy times to celebrate together and through the hard times, to support me. We were ‘joined at the hip’ in facing challenges, together an unbeatable force against falsehoods and injustices, and I am so desperately sorry that together with your other loving friends and family, I couldn’t help you to fight this last huge injustice.
